Day 2-3 Palo Duro Canyon

Palo Duro Canyon was really interesting. It is in Texas, but I had never heard of it before planning this trip. It is near Amarillo and the land is flat as can be, and then all of a sudden there is this great big canyon. Brian woke up early Thursday morning to go biking. He rode and hiked for about three hours and took the photo of Lighthouse Peak (top photo). He said it was really amazing. As I was sleeping I just had to take his word for it. And since I am doing five things at once there is another sideways picture. I'll get it sooner or later!!
